My trip to Konkan- An unforgettable memory

Last week myself and 5 friends were on a Konkan trip. The trip includes visit to Hari hareshwar temple beach,Diveagar,Janjira fort and then to last stop Kashid beach. The whole experience was awesome.

We book a private cab and started our journey early on saturday as everybody has to join office back on Monday.Let me brief about my friends in this tour.

Prashant, my old friend, Tarun an IIM passout, its lovely talking to him as he speaks technically,Alok a dude, Sandeep out tour manager and conduct whole trip very well , and the last but not least Vishnu the food freak that makes us very good friends.

So our first stop was Hari hareshwar, Its a temple alongwith a nice beach. Its in Raigad district and around 190 KM from Pune (Maharashtra).Besides pilgrimage place it is famous for its beach which was amazing and we stopped there for some time.

From their we directly headed for Diveagar beach, we played on the beach there and had a lot of fun.We had spend time on beach for 3-4 hrs and then headed for our resort. We freshen up and then again went to beach around 8 PM.It was a Christmas eve and alongwith beers we played a little game called Confession, where everybody has to tell a secret and confess. No I am not gonna tell the confession but it was a memorable one!

Then in the early morning we again went to beach to see the sunrise. It was a wonderful walk near beach.Little chill and a tea can make you mad.We then went to a Ganesh temple , It is a very famous temple in which we have pure gold statue of god Ganesha.

We then headed for Janjira fort , its near a village Murud.Janjira is a Arabic word means an island. This fort is attacked so many times by British,Portugese, Marathas but no one has ever able to win it.You have to take a ferry to reach there. When we reached there was a long queue for ferry, we then understood that we can't make it as we had other plan.So we just took some picture from shore and left.

It was 12 noon and we were heading for last destination, Kashid beach. It is on Alibagh road.It is around 170 KM from Pune. This beach is famous for white send, blue sea and green mountain. This was the best part of our trip.A big clear beach with lot of crowd.First we went for adventure sport like banana ride motor boat etc.We also played beach volleyball.I was awesome experience when some crowd from south Korea and Japan joined us.

Overall It was an amazing trip and we enjoyed a lot!We will have another visit soon.So if you want to relax a bit and want to chill yourself at sea beach Konkan is the best place. So next time when you plan a trip to India, don't miss this part.
